Here at Lilliput Nursery we have a lot to be proud of and would love to share with you some of our proudest moments.
Investors in People
In December 2009 we really saw a return on our commitment to our people when we received accreditation as an Investor in People organisation. We recognise that our people are our greatest asset and were delighted that this was acknowledged by the IIP Assessor.
NDNA
In 2011 Bertram Nursery Group joined the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA). NDNA’s vision is a society where all children and families receive the best quality care and learning that enables them to reach their full potential.
ECO Schools
We are registered as an ECO schools centre and are proud to be aiming to reach our Bronze award for our commitment to being an environmentally friendly nursery. Our children are passionate recyclers and love nothing better than an afternoon caring for their garden.
Smile Too Dental Scheme
We were proud of our sparkling smiles when we were awarded Childsmile Dental Scheme accreditation.
Each child in our nursery has a personal toothbrush and cleans their teeth daily. We are supported in this by an Oral Health Worker from Smile Too.
Our nursery menus are not just deliciously tasty but have been accredited by Smile Too for promoting healthy eating…..yum!
Supporting Charitable Organisations
Oh what fun we had when we ran special events including a Pyjama Day, candy stall, bouncy castle and balloon modelling to raise much needed funds of £182 for Children in Need and the Sick Kids hospital for whom we raised £80 in July 2010 to assist in their great work.
